WHO IS WRONG AND WHAT WENT WRONG: (a look into almajiri system).

Every african has a dream, that very dream to get out of
poverty line, but many die too young with their dreams.
In nigeria, most talent are bound, it is here that we struggle
to gain, million ways of visions yet to tap, every nigerian is
battling poverty, even the so-called rich men because we are
seeing them busy with court cases on their neck and it is all
about MONEY so that they don't get poor. The poor are
negleted and forgotten like an old page of an old book in an
old isolated library. The reason is only that they are POOR,
not forgetting that they were born poor because some
greedy people stole their life in a horror moment.
Poverty is the poor peoples common friend, they are not
bad but yet people rejected the poor. Poor people suffer
because GREEDY people consider poverty as a SIN.
The gaskiyan magana is ALL of us want to make money, but
money brings problems to the wealthy and brings conflicts
to the poor and sometimes leads to family battle, (yet we
have to look for it, no matter where it is hidden,no matter
how long it takes, PMB).
In nigeria, if you think the rich will ever give a damn about
the poor then you are asleep, they own the big cars rushing
your way on their track, politicians who represents you are
no where to be found (except during campaigns), in this
uncertain country one thing is certain "they will never
relent.."
They will never be satisfied with their looting until they reach
101%.
In northern nigeria, as we all know, most of our parents
(muslims) passed through the system of "ALMAJIRANCI",
they did their's in a proper and modest way, they earn the
knowledge in which they are out there to seek.
During their days, the system is well arranged with discipline
plus character, at their time, the country was well secured,
NO BOMBS, NO MILITANTS, NO KIDNAPPING, MONEY isn't
their problem, no matter how hard the nations economy
might look, they'll have something to eat, they were mostly
farmers so they aren't jobless. they were raised to see a
functional and affordable schools, there were many
orientations just for them to be part of the school, they were
taught by white-men together with children of those of the
higher class, they turned out to be friends without any class
discrimination. The only best among them is that who can
score the highest score in exams, which are mostly the then
ALMAJIRI's, they were used to learning and to easily
memorize things.
As time goes on, this same almajiri's later turned out to be
something in the country,PRESIDENTs, GOVERNORS,
SENATORS, DIRECTORS heads of MDA's etc, only few can
trace their origin as almajiri's, or tell their children that they
were ex-almajiri's. (Dan adam kenan).
Almajiranci from the time islam came into the country,
through the 1900's, throgh our independence, through 80's,
and early 90's is a recommended system and a system no
any government will think of tampering with, but the
almajiranci of today need a serious government and private
sectors interventions. The system need to be re-looked, re-
designed even if their will be a need to change the entire
outlook of it, GEJ administration try to do something but
failed due to some greedy and heartless people in the north.
I think this change government should do something about
the over 4 to 5 million ALMAJIRI's we have in the north,
because I can clearly set my eyes on many Ex-almajiri's in
the presidents cabinet and in the senate, including the oga
at the top, PLEASE look into the life of those currently in
your former life, the whole system is not the way you left it
shekaru dayawa a baya.
The time for ALMAJIRI to feel the impact of change is near
and may be NOW!!!
Try to build the bridge between your former self and you of
today, when you do this and the system still remain as it is then we
will definately know WHO IS WRONG AND WHAT WENT WRONG
